Exploring The Temples of Angkor

A tower in Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia

People come from all over the world to see Angkor Wat – and why wouldn’t they? Who doesn’t love being overcharged, wading through busloads of Chinese tourists, and sweating bullets underneath the scarf that’s hiding their indecent, naked shoulders? I kid, I kid. It’s not that bad – although all of those things really did happen. But that was to be expected when visiting one of the world’s largest tourist attractions. Despite the overwhelming number of people who visit the temples each day, we still managed to sneak off and find some pretty great, secluded locations. Well-deserved, I think, considering we pulled an all-nighter the night prior and cycled to Angkor in the dark at 3 a.m., but who’s complaining? 😉

Regardless, enjoy this short video that we sacrificed sleep, sanity and a ridiculous amount of money (by our standards) for.
